When we first began these gatherings online in March 2020, we were the first of only a few offering online avenues for connection. Now, several months in to this pandemic situation, we are shifting to hosting PUBLIC Minerva Gatherings once a month, while fostering covenanted groups to gather privately as often as they wish, in addition to our other UU Women's Spirituality offerings.
UU Women's Minerva Potlucks are a time for spiritual renewal and nourishment. A safe and sacred space for women to connect with one another in spiritual exploration. A treasured tradition in some women’s circles that typically takes place at the beginning of each new month, we now are hosting online.
First Tuesdays 7:00PM-8:00PM Eastern Time
To help UU Women stay connected during this time of isolation, in collaboration with UU Women and Religion we are offering Virtual Minerva Gatherings via Zoom weekly!
❉ These online gatherings will embody the same elements of conversation, poetry, music, art and ritual as our in-person Minerva Gatherings have over the years.
Bring your meal and beverage to your computer. Relax. And be in the company of other women.
We will also be posting regular offerings on our website and social media pages to include:
❉ Video, Audio and Digital images
❉ Meditations, Prayers, Rituals, Conversations
These programs are funded in part, by a generous grant fromUU Women’s Connection, and in collaboration with UU Women & Religion,www.UUWR.organdwill be facilitated in large part by Rev. “Twinkle” Marie Porter-Manning, Interfaith Minister & Co-convener of UU Women & Religion.
